Seahurst Park

Paul and I went down for a lovely day at Seahurt Park in Burien.

We got a little adventurous near the stream that feed into the bay.

Paul and I took a fun little picture near the stream, with dappled sunlight coming through the trees.
This is where the stream ended, in beautiful, shallow pools of water.

The New Glasses

It has been ages since I actually wore glasses...I have some wire frame glasses form years ago, but only wore them at night. Nichole and I have spent countless hours, trying on countless pairs of glasses, to finally go in for an appointment, and the assistant had a pair sitting in the back, and she brought them out for me to try on. The glasses are really fun, and bold - they are a slight metalic turquoise, so they go with everything.

Little skinny Paul and I in downtown Seattle.

Ellen Thorson Enger

My Great-Great Grandmother Ellen Thorson Enger. I added color in photoshop to this photo, which was taken somewhere in the 1880's, a 100 years before I was born!

Care Bear Elise in the Clouds

So I had a little fun with photoshop:) I'm going to print this out and frame it for Elise's room!

My little niece

Elise is such a sweet little baby, she and I have so much fun together!

My Beautiful Little Sailor Girl

Elise is the epitome of cute! She looks like such a kid now!
Elise has boundless energy, nearly walking too! Laura had better watch out!
How precious, and old fashioned does Elise look? I can't stand how positively cute she looks in those hair bows!

Elise's First Birthday

The Girls Having Fun

Molly thinks she is a lap dog!
Elise loves playing with dogs, but she loves cats even more...too bad the Stark's cat isn't a fan of Elise.

Elise made a quick get away to the grass, she can scoot her little booty!
I love this picture! Elise if finally getting a little relief from the heat, with the wind blowing in her face!

Gentle, Elise, Gentle

Elise was SO hilarious at the 4th of July at the Stark's. Laura Stark brought her granddaughter Claire over to Elise. Since Elise doesn't realize she is a baby any more, she got very possessive. She starting fighting Laura and screaming when Claire was being taking away from her! She thinks she is a little mommy! She also hugs her dolls, kisses them goodnight, and puts them to sleep in her car seat. What a little sweetie!
Here is Elise getting crazed when Claire was being picked up by her grandmother.
Elise standing outside, with a little help from a table. Elise stood for about 5 seconds on her own about 30 minutes before this.
Little goofball Elise crawling through things to get to where she is going.

Elise loves to rearrange and organize. Laura Stark had a bag of tissue paper which Elise diligently tore into little shreds.

A little sleep induced crazy

Elise gets so silly when she is tired! It is a great indicator a nap is needed!

Little Yoga Baby

Elise working diligently to find a way to put her shoe on
Elise was stretching, before a good crawl throughout the house
Elise was beginging to get a little bit sleepy here

Cranky Pants Modeling Session

This is her "lounging" pose
This is her "feigned surprise" pose
This is her "little miss snotty pants" pose
Her pensive pose
Elise was dancing to the music in her head

4th of July Elise

Lunching with Laura and Elise

The beautiful Laura and Elise during our lunch date.

Elise took a huge hand of potatoes and rubbed in into Laura's extended hand! She is a messy baby.

Elise playing peek-a-boo with herself.

Monkeying Around

Elise wasn't quite sure about the monkey I brought (since they were the same size), but she learned to love the monkey because Laura gave him hugs.

Blame the Needle

I now have a piercing in my ear, with alas, no earring. Just a hole. A wonderful artist attempted to pierce the cartilage, and lost the hole not once, but twice. After mumbling about "never having lost a transfer (of jewelry by way of the needle), he says "Don't worry darling' it's not your fault, it was a bad needle." Now, NO WHERE in the process did I even remotely think it was EVER my fault. I left dizzy, palid and wondering why the heck he had to "comfort" me with his deflective words. He assured me the hole would heal over completely. Today I'm not convinced.

Playing house

My arrangment on top of the book case. I found vintage native American things that mix in with the look of the house
My side table, a little bit of robin's egg blue, white and glass. The little sheep is a piggy bank.

The side view of the canopy.
My extravagant feeling new bed! Craigslist is amazing!

The little doll stroller I got at goodwill for $4.99. It needs a little love, but so cute for Elise!

My yellow table cloth. It is a little bit lighter of a yellow, the light makes it look gold. I need chairs to go with this table.

My Value Village lamp (base) was green and brown (fit my color scheme) I just had to get a brown lamp shade (on clearance at Fred Meyer). This lamp needs a piece of furniture to rest on!
