Some of my new projects

My kitchen lamp! Yes, I super glued silverware to a lamp, I'm genius!
Post production of my new "Robin's Egg Blue" vanity

Lovely, but I needed an update, and spray paint comes in such tempting colors

My new sickness

Of all my addictions (Ebay, Craigslist and Value Village), by far, Value Village is my biggest! I go there at least once a day (and as the advertisement in the store states, new things are being put on the shelf every day). I've been able to furnish my house for well under $200 so far, and I love the thrill of finding something 1000% less than retail! And, as funny as it is, a national news program had a segment of "Thrift being in!" Craigslist and Ebay are another monster all together...one has much less control of purchase...it's a stressful endeavour at times...although, a woman nearly pulled a picture out of my hand at the thrift store...the price of having fabulous taste:)

The Ray Train

Poor Nichole....she had a lovely ring tone of a train for Ray, which we coined "The Ray Train." Since she recently got a new phone, she has had to search for the same ring town. This is Deborah reinacting the whisle of a train.

The perfect Thuy

So Thuy invited Nichole and I over for the loveliest dinner (she always makes yummy things). And after eating a wonderful pasta, Thuy enters the kitchen and exclaims "Oh no, I forgot," and proceeds to reach into the oven to pull out a full turkey...Nichole and I never laughed so hard! The way Thuy casually mentioned she "forgot" she had cooked a turkey was so endearing!

The monster I created

So there used to be a time when Paul would step out in XXL shirts, everything dark and dreary. I bought him a pink oxford 5 and 1/2 years ago....and everything changed
